Work experience
Christos started off his career in Transfer Pricing in 2013 with BDO and International Advisory Services in Greece and PwC in Kazakhstan. In 2018 he joined Deloitte Cyprus where he was leading transfer pricing projects as a senior manager until 2024.
Christos has more than 10 years of experience in Transfer Pricing, collaborating with multinational entities across diverse regions including Cyprus, Greece, Russia, Kazakhstan and Ukraine. His engagements span a wide array of industries, including mining & metals, Oil & Gas, construction, shipping, financial services, software development, FMCG, machinery and equipment and logistics.
His primary areas of expertise include conducting diagnostics of transfer pricing risks and providing recommendations on improving pricing policies, redesigning production and supply chains and consulting on the development of transfer pricing methodologies for services and cost distribution models.
Christos has significant experience in defending taxpayers during transfer pricing audits and has been involved in several Advanced Pricing Agreements (APAs).
Christos is also a freelance lecturer. Christos’s passion for education is evident through his roles as a lecturer at Globaltraining, Deloitte Academy and the Institute of Certified Public Accountant of Cyprus (ICPAC). Christos has also delivered numerous Transfer Pricing trainings to companies operating both in the private and public sector.
Qualifications
Christos holds a BSc degree in Accounting & Finance from Athens University of Economics and Business.
He also holds the ADIT (Advanced Diploma in International Taxation) qualification and the “Market Maker/Trader for Derivatives” and “Provision of Investment Advice in Securities and Derivatives” certifications from the Athens Stock Exchange (ATHEX).
Moreover, Christos has a high level of command of the Russian language having obtained the Third Level Certificate (TORFL III).
